New Orleans

Creating a new urban lighting landscape

When the city of New Orleans had to rebuild its lighting infrastructure after hurricane Katrina, city planners chose Citelum for its proven comprehensive engineering services and track record of excellent operational and environmental performance.

The Louisiana capital, known internationally for its music scene and vibrant culture, is steadily getting back on its feet. As part of the recovery efforts, the city decided to revamp its urban lighting system:

  • Perform emergency repairs to equipment essential to public safety and security
  • Improve day-to-day operations and technical and environmental performance

Citelum was chosen to work with a local company, Royal Engineering, to help the city achieve these goals.
